Our Story *

Honoring a Legacy Through Service

MEACH Community Foundation was founded in honor of Demetrius “MEACH” Few Sr., the younger brother of two of our founders, whose life was taken far too soon. A Detroit native and entrepreneur, MEACH was the proud owner of Hook & Book, his trucking company based in Detroit, Michigan. His life was marked by compassion, generosity, and service to others. We honor his legacy by creating opportunities, restoring hope, and strengthening families and communities for generations to come.

MEACH Community Foundation empowers families and youth by providing essential resources, mentorship, and life-skills support that help rebuild lives, restore stability, and inspire continuous growth. We believe every person deserves the opportunity to overcome hardship with dignity, hope, and practical support.
